Citroen released pricing and details of the new C1 city car for the British market. The funky and cute C1 is not powerful, fast and exciting in anyway. But that’s OK because those are the qualities men look for in a car. The C1, as these press pictures suggest, is designed for the ladies. They’ll be chuffed to know the car comes in funky colors, is easy to park and has lots of cubbyholes for the stuff they keep in the car.

In terms of economy, the new Citroen C1 does 65.7mpg on the combined cycle and emits less than 100 g/km CO2. In terms of equipments, VTR versions come with day-time running LEDs, air conditioning and electric front windows. The VTR+ trim also includes 14” alloy wheels, Connecting Box (Bluetooth & USB socket), front fog lights, leather steering wheel and dark tinted windows.

As for the pricing, it start from £7,995, but this being Citroen there is already a £1,000 cashback offer to celebrate the launch of the car next month. What’s more, VTR models are available from just £99 per month with Elect 4 Personal Lease, including one year’s free insurance for drivers aged 21-75. The free insurance offer is also available on VTR models funded with Elect 3 finance.
