The gorgeous new A Class shares absolutely nothing with its predecessors, well, apart from the badge. It’s a proper premium hatchback now. It’s spacious and sporty, and it looks great.

What’s more, there will be an AMG model available which is your run of the mill hot hatch. That’ll be a mega hatch.

It took Mercedes a lifetime to finally get their head round the idea of what makes a great hatchback, but they seem to have finally pulled it off.
