As the more eagle-eyed readers may have already spotted it, in one of the pictures of the new Mercedes GLK released a few days ago, Mercedes gave us a preview of the new G-Class as well. Of course, you’d be forgiven for not noticing it, because by the looks of things little has changed in the new model, apart from the new LED lights, and side mirrors, and slightly revised grille.
One would imagine the interior would also be upgraded to some extent and the engine lineup would be refreshed for lower consumption and CO2. To be honest though, we’re glad Mercedes has not changed the looks of the big G because it’s a timeless, iconic design. And you don’t mess with icons.
That said, there are new AMG versions of the G-Class coming, one with a 612-hp V12 engine, which could be a bit more different.
