Swedish designer Bo Zolland, one of the guys behind the Jaguar Growler, announced his plans to unveil a very special 1968 custom Camaro at the 2012 SEMA show. As always, the the computer-generated image of the car looks absolutely awesome. Granted, the 68 Camaro is handsome car, but the details in design are just fantastic.

The car gets totally revised front and rear aprons with unusual stuff for muscle cars, such as front splitter and central twin exhausts. But it’s these contrasting factors that make it interesting. Come to think of it, Europeans seem to have a better taste in making muscle cars than Americans!

The power will come from a modern supercharged V8. The suspension and brakes will also be modern as they come from a 2012 Corvette. In terms of desirability, and on a scale of 1 to 10, this Camaro gets an 11.

The finished product will be revealed at the SEMA show in October.
