How annoying it is if your month-old £200,000 (about $400K if you round things up) Lamborghini Aventador break down in the middle of the town, and has to be towed away. Well, we can tell you it’s doubly annoying if you are on your way to a party when that happens. And it’s pretty embarrassing as well, especially if you are famous.

You can ask Cristiano Ronaldo. He knows, because that’s exactly what happened to him.

The Portuguese footballer’s handsome-looking matt black Aventador suddenly gave up working and left the superstar a bit purple-faced with shame, just sitting there scratching his head. He quickly got on the phone and had his people to come to rescue, but he couldn’t escape the passersby’s camera phones.

Ronaldo hasn’t enjoyed the best of luck with Italian cars. A couple of years ago, when he was playing for Manchester United, he crashed his Ferrari 599 on the way to a training session. And now this Aventador.

It’s also embarrassing for Lamborghini, why should a one month old Aventador break down like this.

Don’t expect any sympathy, or even an explanation, from Lamborghini though. They’re Italian. They usually don’t care about such stuff. They will  probably tell Ronaldo he’s lucky it didn’t catch fire like Ferraris!
