Top Gear USA, despite its best efforts, is not as good as the original British version. Well, nothing is as good as the British Top Gear. But the yanks’ problem is not cars, location or crazy stunts. They just don’t have the chemistry of the British blokes, and as Clarkson once said you can’t engineer chemistry. Still, if you are a car person, TG USA has plenty to offer, as shown in this clip from their first ever episode. They pitted a Dodge Viper against a Cobra helicopter gunship in a race around town.

The clip was posted by the original Top Gear channel. They always try to give the Americans a hand and show them love whenever they can.

This boy Tanner can really drive. The other two are useless though!
