A few weeks ago Dodge announced its plans to go rallying with the new Dart and released a preview of what a Dodge Dart Rally car would look like. The plan is to enter the car into the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship with Travis Pastrana as the driver. This way they both gain motorsport experience, and it’s also great publicity for the Dart road car. Here’s some footage of Travis putting on his his game face and taken the Dart Rally Car for a spin… Ken Block style.

Dodge Dart Rally car is powered by a 2.0 liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, mated to a Sedav 4-wheel drive system. It makes 600hp and 550 lb.-ft. of torque. A suitable car then for an adrenaline junkie like Travis.
