Mazda quietly went on to try an incredible stunt with the little Demio – Mazda2 in Europe and America – by pitching it against the Demon Drome, the wall of death. Driven by Dynomite Dave, the master death rider at the Drome, Mazda2 managed to conquer the wall without breaking a sweat.
They could have made a bigger fuss, but then there would be loss of face if it didn’t work.
A word of warning to those who own the Mazda2: Don’t think your car is capable of driving on the walls. This particular car you see here is heavily beefed up with bespoke suspension and tires and stuff, and it’s being driven by a guy who has spent his whole life on this circle.
