Abu Dhabi-based Prestige Cars dealership is a meeting point for some of the world’s most special cars. So it’s possibly the best place to sell a multi-million dollar one-off Rolls Royce. The car in question is the Rolls Royce Hyperion, a built-to-order car based on the Phantom Drophead, designed by designed by Jason Castriota for a British collector. This special Roller is also very ugly.
That is probably why they couldn’t sell it yet. The problem with one-off cars is that they’re designed to satisfy one man, and one man only. And since money can’t buy taste, others might not enjoy the end result as much as the owner.
The Hyperion was first sold for a staggering € 4,500,000 in 2009. It was then shown to prospect customers at the Dubai Motor Show. They probably thought it would fit well within the Arab car culture. How much they are charging this time is unclear, but you can call Prestige Cars and ask.
