Ralph Gilles, the head of SRT brand and Motorsports & senior VP in Product Design, is the coolest CEO in the whole automotive industry. You rarely see him in a tux, speaking rubbish about politics and environment and what not. He is the one responsible for the new Viper, so who better to talk about the philosophy behind its design and features. We salute you Mr. Gilles, for your creation is nothing short of spectacular!

Pay attention to the man:

Just to recap, the 2013 SRT Viper is powered by a 8.4 liter V10 developing 640 hp, enough for a top speed of 205 mph. Not only the new one has not lost any of its predecessors’ good features – such as the side exhausts, long bonnet and an aggressive look that makes small hatchbacks wet themselves – it took cues from the first-gen Viper. It is also sophisticated, packing some cool technologies, according to Ralph.
