Those interested in Cadillac’s new luxury saloon XTS can now go and spec one up, virtually. The new online configurator gives you detailed info on the car’s features and options, as well as pricing details. The car starts at $45,000, but a quick look around the options list we realized a fully-loaded, range-topping XTS can easily cost you well over $60K.
Positioned directly above the centerpiece CTS family in Cadillac’s revamped lineup, the new XTS features a 3.6L direct injection engine and advanced all-wheel drive system, marking a shift to more-efficient performance in a spacious luxury sedan. The car also gets the new CUE infotainment system, magnetic ride control and all sort of gadgets you find in a European luxury saloon, such as adaptive cruise control or advanced safety features.
The new Caddy’s design might not appeal to everyone though. It’s a bit too grown up, and it’s not that pretty either. Still, go fiddle around with the Online Configurator, play with the colors and stuff. You may like it.
