Metcalfe G63 Review at 2013 Mercedes G63 AMG Review by Harry Metcalfe

Evo founder Harry Metcalfe only reviews the best and finest cars they get at the office. In this video he gives us a thorough tour of the new Mercedes G63, the latest version of the world’s one and only true Super SUV. As always, Harry’s review is full of interesting details that you simply don’t get in any other program. He even tells about the manly clunk of the door lock! Just amazing. And as a cherry for the top, he’ll max the car out on the Autobahn.

Whether you like the looks of the new G63 or not, there’s no denying a high-riding military machine with over 500 hp and every luxury amenity you can think of is a hugely appealing prospect. But it’s the feel of the thing that is the most awesome part. It makes you feel invincible!

The new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG impresses with state-of-the-art drive technology, expressive design and increased fuel economy. All this is largely attributable to the AMG 5.5?litre V8 biturbo engine delivering 400 kW (544 hp) and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission system. Even more exclusive is the new G65 AMG: its AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine delivers 450 kW (612 hp) and reaches a maximum torque of 1000 newton metres – a record in the off-road segment.
