Mercedes released official pricing details of the all-new 2013 SL63 AMG for the European market, and it’s quite scary. The normal SL63 with 537-hp will set you back €157,675. If you want the AMG Performance Pack which boosts the power to 564-hp, that will cost an extra €14,280. You can almost buy a Ferrari with that kind of money!
The price tag might be quite fat, but you receive a very complete car in return. The new Mercedes SL is considerably lighter (125 kg) than its predecessor thanks to its aluminum structure, so it’s better to drive. And with the massive power that 5.5 liter AMG V8 delivers in the SL63, you will have super car performance in your ultra-lux convertible sports car.
2013 Mercedes SL63 does o to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds – or 4.2 with the AMG Pack. 200 km/h is reached in 12.9 or 12.6 seconds respectively, and as for the top speed, while it’s limited to 250 km/h in the normal models, the AMG package will raise it to 300 km/h. So it’s worth the extra pay after all.
