Nordschleife brand has released these classic wristwatch model i celebration of the Nurburgring’s 85th anniversary. The 1972 14-hour timepiece pays homage to the famous Nurburgring 24 hours race, which is why it has a 24-hour display. The 1972 of course refers to the date of the first ever race, which was held on June 18th, 1927.

Nordschleife 1927 Watch has a stainless-steel case in 1.4 inch (36mm) or 1.7 inch (44mm) size, and is available with black and white dial. It also features a Swiss quartz movement and black leather strap.

Automotive-related watches are usually quite pricey. Not this one though. The smaller one is €85/$110, and the bigger one €105/$140. If you like the race track, it is a nice and affordable piece. Think of it as a memorabilia . After all, the Nurburgring is going through rough financial times. Who knows for how much longer it can survive.
