Mercedes Benz makes cars for the elite, and it shows with their choices for sponsorship. Fashion industry, Golf, and Tennis are the fields Mercedes is most active in. You never see their logo in a soccer field. Now, taking advantage of their partnership with Germany’s top tennis players, they got some of them to come over and sample the new Mercedes SL63 AMG and say a few lines about it to the camera.

It’s not just Germany either. Mercedes is also a sponsor of Roger Federer.

Granted, it’s a rather pointless ad. But at least you get to see the new SL63 in red, which is an interesting color for this car. The combination of red and chrome doesn’t look half bad on the SL. The convertible sports car features a 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine that makes 520 PS in its normal guise, and 570 when fitted with the optional AMG performance pack. In many ways the new SL is a flawless car. It’s just a bit ugly!
