Today we received this nice rendering of the new generation Mercedes S-Class, and the S63 AMG version no less, in our mailbox. Based on the most recent spyshots, the rendering suggests the W222 S-Class will get bigger headlights like those on the new SL, new and smaller taillights, and different bumpers than the current model. Is it just us, or it does kinda look like a C-Class on steroids?
Of course the AMG version will come with sports bumper and large air intakes and LED lights up front, flared arches, side skirts, plus a rear diffuser with four tailpipes integrated in it. A subtle bootlid spoiler is also part of the package, and so is a set of bigger wheels, behind which you find bigger than normal brake discs. The interior will be garnished with exclusive leather upholstery and – depending on the ticked boxes in the options list – carbon fibre trims.
As for the power, the 2013 S63 AMG will get the same 5.5 liter biturbo you find in most of AMG products these days with an output of either 530 or 570 horsepower if you select the AMG Performance Pack.
Hat tip to Norbert and specially to Topspeed for this great rendering.
