Mercedes decided that even its full-size 7-seater SUV needs an AMG version. So they’ve given it one, and made the GL63 AMG. On the looks of it, the car seems utterly pointless, unless you want to ferry around 7 people at the same time at very high speed. But it’s the feel of the thing that will convince you to pay a healthy premium over the normal models for this. It feels awesome to have 410 kW (557 hp) and 760 Nm, and hit 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds in a car the size of a cathedral!
