The Vitesse, as you know, is the convertible or GrandSport version of the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport. Now, at 2012 Pebble Beach Concours, the VW-owned French brand unveiled a new ‘special edition’ of the Vitesse, but as far as we can work out, the only extra it has compared to a ‘normal’ model is some blue paint. And it costs 1.74 million euros!

It seems all Bugatti has done to create this SE was dip a normal Vitesse into a bucket of light blue paint. You get that color on the lower part of the bumpers, the side skirts, and the wheels. We have to point out though, the Bianca white and light blue color combo is an homage to the 1928 Type 37A which sported a same sort of paint job. So yes, that makes it rather special.

But is all it takes to make a SE Veyron is a unique paint job, then all of them are special editions, because they all have different colors. When you are spending well over a million euros on a car you certainly spec it up to the last details and get a color that makes it unique.

Performance-wise, this Vitesse is no different than others, which means you get a 1,200 horsepower quad-turbo W16 engine capable of kind of speed that boggles the mind.
