Dartz Nagel Dakkar at Dartz Announced Nagel Dakkar SUV

Russian firm Dartz has evolved from a tuner of high-end cars into a maker of special cars. This is a lot more fun, and gets them more attention. As you may know Dartz made the golden SUVs featured in Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film The Dictator. Now they’ve come up with this, the Dartz Nagel Dakkar, a super SUV with awesome offroad capability and a luxurious interior.

The most incredible thing about the Dakkar is the way it looks. Like most other Dartz creations, this one too is big and imposing, and has an insane design. It’s not just a flight of fancy either. Dartz has already planned making 10 units of it. It there’s a demand for it they will make more.

This superb machine will be powered by AMG’s latest 5.5 liter biturbo engine, tuned to make 650-hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. That power in combination with a lightweight body and chassis made almost entirely from carbon fiber will make the Nagel very fast. The name Nagel by the way is Dartz’ tribute to a famous Russian driver Andre Nagel.

You don’t expect such a thing to be cheap, and it isn’t. The Dakkar has a projected price of between $390,000 to $468,000, depending on the options fitted to it. This being Dartz we assume the option list includes items like folding machine guns, or built-in pole dancers!
