The guys at G-Tech, probably bored with tuning different versions of Fiat 500, decided to make something new out of it. Meet the G-Tech Sportster. This amazing-looking thing is based on a Fiat 500 Abarth. G-Tech thought the car has a bit too much headroom, so they chopped a few inches of it. The Sportster is a tad less practical, yes, but it’s twice as awesome as the base car.
The low roof in combination with the revised bumpers, grilles, side skirts, rear diffuser and the big roof spoiler, give the 500 the looks of a hot coupe. Only it’s better, because the wheelbase is so short and the whole thing is so small. It won’t so much handle the bends as scamper from corner to corner.
To guarantee the car will be more fun to drive, G-Tech also offers insane levels of power upgrade for the car’s tiny 1.4 liter turbo engine. They can boost the output up to 330 horsepower. The drivetrain won’t be changed though, which means all of those horses will go through the front wheels. They could have make it rear-drive as well, but we guess it would have been like designing and building a new car from scratch.
