Ever since we heard about Rhys Millen’s world record run at 2012 Pikes Peak international hill climb, which was two days ago, we’ve been waiting for a video of the action. Now he has has released one, but it’s 10 and half minutes of in-car footage, which is interesting for sure, but we would also like to see it from the outside how Millen slides and glides through the bends of the famous hill.
Still, it’s better than nothing:
The car Millen used to break the Pikes Peak Record was a souped up Hyundai Genesis Coupe powered by a 700-horsepower V6 and featuring unique aero kit and racing suspension and brakes. This car beat a Porsche GT3 – by two hundredth of a second – to in Millen’s his most prestigious award yet.
