This new commercial for the 2013 Mercedes C Class shows you how the car evolves from a test mule into a production model, while going through tough testing and evaluation process to make sure it is up to Mercedes Benz world-class standards. Mercedes says it’s actually like the C-Class coming alive.
That is very nice. The C-Class is certainly a high quality product. But in reality, the car just doesn’t feel as alive as Mercedes wants you to believe it is. You just have to drive a C-Class and a BMW 3-Series back to back to realize this. In the Bimmer you get the sense that the whole chassis is communicating with you. In the Merc you feel kinda isolated. It’s not bad, but it’s not as enjoyable as the 3er to drive.
