Promoting the biggest, boldest and most daring Top Gear Live ever, the Stig will be taking the wheel of the new Aston Martin Vanquish in a new TV ad. The yet-to-be-released 30-second spot is being made for the Top Gear Live UK event taking place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre from 25-28 October, 2012.
The Stig will be performing a couple of cool stunts in the 565bhp V12 Aston as a sort of teaser for the upcoming tour, and just to add a bit more drama, he will be joined by a member of the daring Top Gear Live Stunt Team performing two-wheel tricks on a motorbike.
The Vanquish is apparently one of the highlights of this TG Live event and will be used by Stig, and the presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May to wow the crowd with its stunning beauty and sheer power.
Jezza comments: “The Stig will be tearing around our brand new in-door track in a selection of unreasonably priced supercars and us three will be trying not set each other on fire inside our most dangerous stunt show ever.”
We will be bringing you the ad, but to see the event you have to get to Birmingham. This is especially depressing for those of us outside the UK, as this year there will be no Top Gear on TV because of Olympics and stuff.
