This BASF Mint Green Hyundai Veloster is a work of John Pangilinan, and save the rather brash paint job, it’s a very well-tuned car. They haven’t done much to the exterior; it just gets a set of TS Design flared fenders – designed by Jon Sibal – but the rest of it is heavily modified.
Starting with the 1.6 liter GDI engine, John P bolts an ARK performance exhaust and puts some Lucas oil in it. Then he sets about the suspension system, and beefs it up with KW coilovers, Whiteline sway bars and anti-lift kit.
Brakes are obviously Brembo, and working in tandem with Blacked-out Ray’s Gram Lights Xtreme57 wheels with Toyo tires, provide plenty of stopping power.
JP spent the rest of his time inside the car, where he installed Recaro sport seats, Takata Harnesses, and a complete in-car entertainment system.
