The new BMW M135i is the talk of the town. This little hatchback features the latest turbocharged I-6 engine BMW has in store with 320 hp. That’s almost too much power for a hatchback, but BMW M engineers have worked their magic with this car, so it uses each one of those horses as efficiently as possible.

This 0 to 260 km/h test shows you what that power means when it’s translated into raw performance:

Seeing as BMW has a habit of underrating its cars to make the competition feel bad about themselves, chances are the M135i is capable of going faster than that 260 indicated on the speedo. It’s a wonderful, wonderful car. But my God it’s ugly.
