Another motor show, another special edition Bugatti Veyron. And by special edition we mean a new paint job. This one is based on the latest model, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, and is called the Rafale. Unveiled at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, the car features a Gris Rafale grey and blue color combination.
The body is finished in grey, while blue carbon fiber adorns bots of the roof, pillars, air intakes, and of course, the wheels. Blue is also used in abundance to trim the cabin, with grey stitching all over it from the steering wheel, to the seats, armrests, and door panels. Blue carbon garnishes the dashboard.
The interior is the Rafale’s biggest selling point. At €1.9-million, this car is about 200 grand more than a normal Vitesse, so it had to have something to justify that price difference with. The paint job alone doesn’t cut it!
The performance of Vitesse Rafale is the same as every other Vitesse, which is the best of what’s technically possible. It has a quad-turbo W16 engine that makes a colossal 1,200 Nm and 1,500 Nm of torque, enough to do a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 2.6 seconds and a reaching a top speed of 416 km/h.
