Fisker is indeed coming to 2012 SEMA with their Karma. The thing is that apart from new paint jobs, their cars are not customized, like at all! These paint works are actually done by 3M, who is using this opportunity to market their Diamond Protection Film.

Fisker actually offers that protective film at its dealerships with a factory warranty. The paint jobs on the SEMA Karma are also films, and will be changed every 24 hours of the show. The themes include Riverside with matte white and blue – celebrating American racing heritage – Classic with HotRod red – paying homage to American custom cars – October Sun in orange and black, and Onward, which is the opposite of October model, finished in black with orange accents.

SEMA-bound Karma may also showcase a couple of new designs for wheels. Although with Fisker’s philosophy that no harmful element to the environment can be used in the Karma, they might not be very keen on aftermarket products.
