You are definitely familiar with GeigerCars, a Munich-based tuner who only works on American cars. They are now offering the new Camaro ZL1 Convertible in Germany, a tweaked version of the American muscle car with 589 horsepower, 740 Nm of torque, and an 88,900 Euros price tag.
That sounds like a lot, especially compared to what the ZL1 costs in America. But it is impossible to find a 580+ horsepower convertible car in Europe for under 200,000 Euros. That makes the ZL1 the bargain of this still very young century.
The de-tuned Corvette ZR1 engine in this car is complemented with a flap-controlled exhaust system, ZR1’s dampers, and 20-inch wheels with 285-section tires up front and 305 at the back. There is one big downer though, this car is an automatic.
Geiger’s ZL1 convertible also features a black leather and suede interior and a powerful sound system with in-dash screen.
