Famed auto designer Jon Sibal released the first picture of a tuned Scion FR-S he and a couple of his mates have been working on. Dubbed “NuR” this FR-S is being built by Meguiar’s Car Care Products for this year’s SEMA show, and features a Vortech supercharger system on its four-cylinder boxer engine.
That is the most interesting part of the car. We are quite keen to find out how many horses a supercharger can add to that Subaru/Toyota engine. The tuners have also fitted this car with high-flow cat pipe, Brembo brakes, KW Suspension Variant 3 Coilovers, and 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa. So performance should be quite amazing.
Visually, they have used a blend of two body kits, one from ChargeSpeed – front lip, side skirts, rear caps – and FiveAD rear spoiler and custom lights.
The interior features a Black Leather & Grey Alcantara combo with yellow contrast stitching which covers dash, seats, headliner, steering wheel, shifter, and floormats.
