Earlier this week we told you about an upgraded version of the Mercedes G63 by Brabus coming to this year’s Essen Motor Show. Here it is, called the B63 620 Widestar. Compared to the first version, the B63 gets a revised look thanks to new steel and chrome parts.

This car now stands out as a much more special than the standard G63 due to its steel frames at the front, new LED lights, new rear bumper, and chrome grille, and of course the new 23-inch BRABUS “Platinum Edition” Monoblock E, F or R forged wheels.

As the name suggests, the B63 620 makes 620 horsepower, a remarkable upgrade over the standard car’s 540. With that, and of course 820 Nm of torque, the B63 manages to hit 100 km/h from zero in 5.1 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 230 km/h, which is enough in a car like this.

To cope with that sheer power, Brabus has fiddled with the G63’s chassis a bit and upgraded its Dynamic Ride Control. The high performance Yokohoma tires also play a major role in keeping it in check.

The interior of the B63 is covered in black and brown leather and Alcantara, as well as the usual Brabus goodies such as sport pedals and illuminated door sills.
