Delta 4×4 has come up with a tuning package for the Ford Ranger that turns it into a full-on off-road monster. Actually, they turn it to a dinosaur, as the name Kentros (Kentrosaurus) suggests. It certainly looks like a viscous creature, and it probably is as capable as one in dealing with rough terrain.
Delta has raised the ride height of the Ranger by 310mm, which is a considerable sum, and gives the truck the ability to negotiate slopes up to 36 degree. The standard car can only manage 28 degree. The 1,700 Euro suspension lift and the 2,500 Euro big offroad wheels contribute to that capability.
The Ranger also gets a cool stainless steel front bar and new side steps that makes it easier for getting in and out of the truck. A fully-equipped version of the Kentros can be had for 45,000 Euro.
You can also call this car Delta Ranger, which is quite a cool name, especially to those familiar with U.S. military.
