British ECU specialist Superchips released a new Bluefin ECU remap upgrade kit that boosts the output of Opel/Vauxhall’s 1.4 liter 120 PS turbo engine by 22bhp and 36Nm. That engine is used in the Astra, Corsa and Meriva models.

With this kit installed, which only takes a few minutes thanks to Superchips Bluefin ‘Plug-in and Go’ programming handset, the engine benefits from additional low-end torque which translates into smoother acceleration and easier overtaking maneuvers. What’s more, Superchips says that if you driver the car normally, the upgraded engine will deliver the same fuel economy records as the standard unit.

The package is now available, priced at £499.00 inclusive of VAT and installation.
