After unveiling a unique logo to mark their Centenary, Aston Martin now announces the party plan. It begins with a week-long Aston party, which is part of a year-long calendar of events. After all, turning 100 is a quite a remarkable occasion and needs to celebrated right.

Celebrations begin on 15 January 2013 at Aston’s first home in Chelsea, where there will be a photo call with  the oldest surviving Aston Martin – A3 – and the latest model – Vanquish. Then begins the festival, set to take place from 15 July to 21 July, including  open house activities at Aston Martin’s exclusive Gaydon headquarters, including factory-based events and driving tours.

It ends with a 1,000-guest ‘birthday party’ on Saturday 20 July and a spectacular Centenary Concours event in central London on Sunday 21 July. To top it all off, Aston Martin Heritage Trust and the Aston Martin Owners Club will host a 100-car concourse, to be followed by a 1000-car Aston Martin parade – the largest ever.

As a cherry for the top of Aston’s birthday cake, there will also be a number of centenary drives, including a James Bond-themed route around England and Wales taking in a number of the iconic Bond film locations, Highlands and Islands of Scotland and a rally through six European countries in six days. In America they will celebrate the bugger at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Yep. Aston’s definitely doing it right. In its 100th year of existence, Aston Martin is in its best shape ever, boasting the strongest lineup in the history of the brand.
