Well, it is actually more than unofficial! This is a rather casual lap of the Nurburgring in a stock and privately owned BMW M135i, which to be honest makes the 8 minutes 5 seconds lap time all the more impressive. One would imagine that with a pro driver at the wheel and no traffic the M1235i can be at least 20 seconds faster. This car is seriously fast. If only it looked a bit better.
The M135i owes its performance to a straight six-cylinder engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology, developing 235 kW/320 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds (automatic: 4.9 seconds) and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The best part of it, however, is the fabulous M chassis that results in a great handling and fast cornering capability.
