BMW 4 Series is a car that you will be hearing more and more about in the coming years. Since it was first revealed earlier this month it’s been in the headlines almost everyday. The 4 Series starts a new class for BMW with many different variants.

We already had an early look at what the M version of the 4er would look like, not another rendering tries to show us what a Gran Coupe version might turn out to be. And it’s not just a flight of fancy either. BMW will almost certainly make the 4 Series Gran Coupe now that the Mercedes CLA is in the picture. They dilly-dallied when Mercedes launched the CLS and missed out on a great market for years. Never Again!

The Gran Coupe will be only one of the many different cars that the 4 Series will spawn. It is, as you know, the replacement for the 3 Series Coupe, so there will be the coupe and convertible versions; then the M4 will arrive; and then the Gran Coupe; and finally an M version of the Gran Coupe.
