Yesterday Mercedes revealed the all-new E63 AMG super sedan, and to be honest left us all in a state of shock because of the new S-Model variant. That is a new version of AMG cars with all-wheel-drive system and performance that, quite literally, knocks your socks off. The S-Model’s performance dominated everything, but now that the dust has settled a bit, it is probably a good time to start appreciating other good things about the car.

The S-Model comes with an output of 430 kW (585 hp), 800 Newton metres of torque and featuring a newly developed performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. The permanent all-wheel drive is also optionally available for the other E63 AMG models – on which the V8 engine has been uprated from 386 kW (525 hp) to 410 kW (557 hp), with 720 Nm of torque.
