Ferrari 250 GTO is among the most desirable, and most expensive, classic Ferraris. They are also among the rarest. An original 250 GTO is hard to come by, but lucky for those who fancy one Ferrari Classiche department currently has five of the total 36 GTO’s ever produced in its possession.

And we’re talking about fully restored, good as new 350 GTOs. All you need to do to own one is grab your checkbook  – which needless to say must be quite fat – and go to Maranello to negotiate.

The department currently has 24 amazing pieces in its collection, including  two 250 Testa Rossas, including the 1957 car that Phil Hill drove to victory at the 1958 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as three of the 32 250 LMs produced. Other significant cars include three short wheelbase 250 GT Berlinettas, a 1956 500 TR, and the 512 M that came 4th overall at the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Classiche department is the place to go if you want to restore your classic Ferrari into its showroom-fresh condition. Having access to the original factory technical designs and moulds, the department has so far completed over 60 full, ground-up restoration, and cast numerous new engine parts, including 25 new V12 cylinder blocks and a similar number of cylinder heads, to help restore cars to original specifications.
