Matt Farah in Hennessey Venom GT: 0-200mph Test

Hennessey Venom GT recently set the world record for the fastest acceleration from 0 to 300 km/h. To show us what that feels like from inside the cabin, Matt Farah decided to go and do it himself, but he got carried away and went on to 200mph. That is 320 km/h, and it takes the Venom just over 15 seconds to reach it.

BTW, Matt is driving the Spyder version because he doesn’t fit in the hardtop wearing a helmet. He would have been even faster in the hardtop.

Venom GT really is a astonishing bit of kit. John Hennessey has made a wonderful car out of bits from Lotus and GM. Honestly we’d pick this over a Koenigsegg or a Veyron, because with those cars everybody thinks you are a rich jackass. But the Venom, this is a cool car because nobody knows what the hell it is!
