Smart Fortwo Cityflame Edition Revealed

Smart Fortwo is not so much a car as a fashion accessory. So they need to keep refreshing and updating it, otherwise it loses its appeal. But since it’s an automobile and they cannot design a new model every other week, they keep making special edition versions with different features.

This is the latest Smart Fortwo SE, called ‘Cityflame’ edition. Available in both coupe and cabrio forms, the Cityflame features black tridion safety cell and alloy wheels, while the body can be had in either yellow or black.

Chances are most customers go for the yellow paintjob, as it makes a better contrast with the black cell, alloy wheels with wide tyres (175/55 R 15 at the front and 195/50 R 15 at the rear) and the black door mirror caps, and also complements the yellow accents inside the cabin, where the seat cushions of the high-quality seats in black leather optic are framed by yellow imitation leather inserts and feature yellow stitching.

Further features include a two-section knee pad in black/yellow leather look, a 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles and yellow stitching, and specially produced floor mats embroidered with the word “cityflame”.

Going on sale in April 2013, the Cityflame fortwo is limited to 2400 units and has a base price of 14,490 Euro.
