The new generation Mercedes E-Class will hit the British market in April in sedan and Estate variants. The new model comes in two SE and AMG Sport trim levels, replacing the SE, Avantgarde and Sport, and with a base price of £32,400 for the sedan and £34,310 for the Estate.

Before we get into the pricing details, let’s check out the specifications of the new trim levels. The SE version of the 2014 E-Class comes with stuff like 17-inch wheels, sports grille, Park Assist, partial LED headlights, DAB radio, COMMAND system, Collision Prevention Assist, and Mirror package. Compared to the old SE, this one offers £4,000 worth of additional standard equipment for a £2,280 increase in price.

The AMG Sport version is the sporty one, adding 18-inch wheels and sports seats in Artico artifical leather side bolsters and centre section in Dinamica microfibre to the list of standard SE features. This one costs £575 over the previous E-Class Sport.
