Before launching a new version of the Golf R based on the Mk7 model, Volkswagen releases the Golf R Cabriolet just in time for the Spring. It may not look it, but Gold Cabrio is one of the fastest, most fuel efficient four-seater convertible cars in Europe.
Powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine with direct petrol injection (TSI) that develops 195 kW /265 PS and 350 NM of torque, The R features a standard 6-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG) that play a major role in its fuel efficiency. It does 8.2 l/100 km (equivalent to 190 g/km CO2).
