The first pictures of Mitsubishi’s Geneva-bound concept EVs have been released prior to their official debut. We have the CA-MiEV, which is a grown-up version of the i-MiEV with a proper design, and we have the GR-HEV, a hybrid sports truck.

The CA-MiEV not only features an exciting design with sharp angles and fancy details, it also has a new electric Powertrain that offers a range of up to 186 miles or 300 km. It is also lighter and more aerodynamic, which contribute to its frankly great range.

The GR-HEV has an entirely different system, consisting of a diesel engine and an electric motor to back it up. This diesel hybrid also benefits from the firm’s Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system.

Both these cars are great concepts. Mitsubishi is really trying to step up its EV game. We just wish they come up with a better nomenclature. Typing these cars’ names is a real pain in the you know what!
