German tuner finally revealed its Velocita tuning package for the McLaren 12C, or MP4-12C, in time for the Geneva Motor Show. The first stage is all about the looks, as the program includes a styling package and new wheels, but no performance upgrade.
The body kit includes an exquisitely designed carbon front splitter, complete with new air intakes, side skirts, a big rear wing and a new rear diffuser. Using carbon fiber results in a rather remarkable weight saving.
To further lighten the car, DMC also replaced the stock exhaust system with a titanium one. Upon request, they can also upgrade the interior, and probably shave a few more kilos through excessive use of suede and carbon fiber.
Last but not least, the tuner adds a set of 21-inch wheels from DMC’s Gold Line. They are wrapped in 255/30 ZR21 tires up front and 355/25 ZR21 out back.
