AMG is known for making some pretty insane cars, but their latest creation is off the hook crazy. The Mercedes G63 6×6 is nothing but a toy for big boys, but what a toy it is. Six wheels, five differential locks, four seats, three axles, two turbos, and one fat price tag!
The six-wheel-drive G63 is powered by the same 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 as the normal G63s, with 540 horsepower. Thanks to this monstrous Powertrain the 3.7 ton vehicle can go from 0 to 100 km/h in under six seconds.
Check out the 6×6 G63 in action in the video below:
To maximize the G63 6×6 off-road capabilities, AMG has fitted it with 37-inch tires, portal axles, tire pressure control system and a special chassis featuring adjustable gas-pressure shock absorbers.
While these bits are busy dealing with rough grounds outside, you are cocooned in a luxurious cabin with classic red or light brown designo leather with contrasting topstitching and attractive diamond-pattern quilting. The four electrically adjustable individual seats are heated and ventilated. The rear compartment is equipped with a special center console while the roof liner and pillars are finished in an Alcantara.
Great pics, it really looks like this vehicle really looks like it can handle a lot. It's probably great for off roading.
