Mitsubishi released a teaser for a new global compact model they will be unveiling at the Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. Called the G4, it is a small, economical sedan, and as with most other global model, it will begin its life in the Thai market.

The G4 will be powered by a a 1,2 liter MIVEC mated a CVT transmission, and it is said to be one of the safest cars in its class. The compact sedan is made of high-tensile steel which makes it light, yet very rigid, and it also benefits from advanced safety features such as Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE). The lightweight body also contributes to the car’s fuel economy.

As for the design, well, it is an Eco car, but according to Mitsu the G4 does have some nice features such as high-clarity brilliant-cut diamond motif in the design of the front grill, headlamps and rear combination lamps, which give it an air of passion and prestige.
