Following the first official interior pictures of the new Mercedes S-Class, we can now show you the car itself. This is the new 2014 Mercedes S-Class, set to take the luxury segment by storm. The new model looks pretty much the same as the W221 model in profile, but it has some interesting new details.

The new S-Class gets the same headlight design as the rest of the Mercedes Benz range of new cars with the signature LED lights. Mercifully, they look pretty normal and nowhere near as big and ungainly as the headlights on the SL or the new E-Class. The big S also appears to be taking some cues from the deceased Maybach, especially around at the back.

The thing is, with the Mercedes S-Class looks actually don’t matter. This car is all about luxury, refinement, and above all, technology. We told you about some of the new high-tech stuff the car packs inside the cabin before, but for full details we have to wait for the official release.
