Last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show smart revealed a ridiculously vulgar version of the fortwo, designed by Jeremy Scott, and called the fortwo forjeremy. They said back the they might make this thing in a limited run, but nobody took it seriously. Big mistake.
Maybe if people knew for sure they were going to do it, they’d rally and chain themselves to the factory’s gate and beg them not to go ahead with it. This thing has wings on it. Sure, they have trimmed them down a bit from those humongous and ungainly pieces of crap on the concept car, but still, it is a car… with wings on it.
We are sure there are some people – not many of them straight – who are going to like this car and buy it. But we are also damn sure we don’t to see it out there on the streets. It will ruin your entire day!
Daimler showed a production version of the forjeremy at the Shanghai Auto Show, and announced that it is going to be built – sadly- by Brabus, who is then going to charge at least 34,000 Euros for it.
Besides the wings, the for-two-jeremy-thingy features Alubeam grey tridion cell and… you know what, we can’t talk about this anymore.
Designer Jeremy Scott says about his creation: “I wanted to design something out of the ordinary, something that expressed my dreams and fantasies and that transferred my fashion ideas to automotive design. I see myself driving this car and can well imagine my friends and cool people all over the world loving the unique design of this smart.”
I LOVE it! Seriously, no joke, this is a COOL looking car! It stands out from all these other cars today with the "melted soapbar" profile. I don't care if they're a little impractical, this should seriously be offering this as an option for when the car is available… the wings look GORGEOUS!
>I wanted to design something out of the ordinary, something that expressed my dreams and fantasies…
If this is one of those wet dreams, they did seem extraordinary bad, so there, you nailed it, dude! Or is it the dreams where you are trying to get away from zombies and drive into a pit? – that car?
