Volkswagen announced the launch of a new competitively-priced version of the Passat in America called the Wolfsburg Edition later this year. The car is not yet ready, apparently, because all they have to show us for now is a badge that says Wolfsburg Edition!
When it’s ready though, the Passat WE is going to offer you great value for money. It’ll slot between the new base S and the mid-level SE trims, boasting a price tag of $23,495.
Among the features of the Passat Wolfsburg Edition, and in addition to what it inherits from the S model including Bluetooth technology, multi-function steering wheel with audio and phone controls, automatic headlights, power exterior mirrors and driver’s seat lumbar support, you get unique 16-inch alloy wheels, perforated V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces, a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, satellite radio, and a Media Device-Interface (MDI) with an iPod cable.
Volkswagen Passat Wolfsburg Edition goes on sale in late Spring.
