The first pictures of the revised 2014 BMW M5 F10 leak onto the web via BMW’s online car configurator. This is only a mild tweak and you may not even notice what’s different on the outside, but those little changes add up to make a brilliant car even better.
You get a revised front grille like the one they put on the M6, and the headlights appear to be wearing a little more mascara than before. That is about it for the exterior. Inside the cabin, more M6-derived changes are applied, beginning with the same retro-looking three-spoke steering wheel and a new iDrive joystick. The specifications are also enhanced, but for exact details we have to wait for the car’s official release.
Performance-wise, the 2014 M5 will come with the same 560 horsepower 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 as before, but there will be a Competition Package available for it as an optional extra offering up to 580 horsepower, in addition to sportier suspension, bigger wheels and better brakes.
