Celebrating the production of the 1 millionth Scirocco, Volkswagen announced the launch of a new special edition called, you guessed it, the Million edition. Good news is this model is fully loaded and has bespoke features. Bad news is it is only for Germany and China.

Exclusive visual features on this special edition Scirocco include R-Line bumpers, R-Line side sills, smoked tail lights, ‘Million’ stickers on the wings and dark tinted rear windows.The only available exterior color is black.

Inside the cabin you get black leather upholstery with orange contrasting stitching, as well as other orange highlights, plus ‘Million’ decals on the door sills.

That one million unit production milestone is mostly due to the success of the Mk I and II Sciroccos, which in the 70s and 80 sold over 795,650 units. The current generation of the car, introduced in 2008, has sold just over 204,350 units.
